Account Information
When you create an account using email, username and password, we collect your email address and authentication credentials managed through our authentication provider. When you sign in using Google OAuth, we collect your name, email address and profile picture. We do not have access to your Google account password.
Profile Information
We store your email, username and password. We may store a profile picture if you choose to display within the App.
Pet Information
The App allows users to create pet profiles containing a pet name, pet type/species, and dog size (where applicable). Pet names are visible only to the owner of the account.
Reviews and User Content
Users may submit reviews for locations displayed within the App. Reviews are visible to other users and may be displayed together with your username and your profile picture, if you choose to display one.
We also collect information from mobile devices for a better user experience, although these features are completely optional:
Camera (Pictures)
Granting camera permission allows the user to upload any picture straight from the platform, you can safely deny camera permissions for this platform.
Photo Gallery (Pictures)
Granting photo gallery access allows the user to upload any picture from their photo gallery, you can safely deny photo gallery access for this platform.
4. Information We Do Not Collect

5. Tracking Technologies
Local Storage
Local Storage sometimes known as DOM storage, provides web apps with methods and protocols for storing client-side data. Web storage supports persistent data storage, similar to cookies but with a greatly enhanced capacity and no information stored in the HTTP request header.
Sessions
We use "Sessions" to identify the areas of our platform that you have visited. A Session is a small piece of data stored on your computer or mobile device by your web browser.

7. Google Sign-In
The App supports authentication through Google OAuth. When using Google Sign-In, we receive only your name, email address and profile picture. We do not access any other information from your Google account.
8. Google Maps
The App uses Google Maps services to display maps and locations. The App does not request, access, or collect your device's GPS location. Your use of Google Maps may also be subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
9. Third-Party Service Providers
To operate the App, we rely on third-party service providers, including:
- Supabase (database and authentication services)
- Google OAuth
- Google Maps Platform
These providers may process personal data solely for the purpose of providing their services.

Paw Guide is incorporated in Greece. In the course of providing our services, some of the third-party providers we use, including Google and Supabase, may process or store personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
